update: Enable direct comparing domain types and combination in orthologues among lancelet and other species

These allow comparison of domain types and combination in orthologs so as to decode the ancient domain types (non-vertebrate-specific domains) and domain combination in chordates, especially the loss and gain of domains in orthologues during evolution from invertebrates to vertebrates, which may provide new insights into the chordate ancestral state.

Adding alternative polyadenylation (APA) sites to support for lancelet gene models
Add: B.belcheri_v7h2_polyA_V.anguillarum-infected-intestine

The APA sites used in the normal and Vibrio anguillarum-infected intestine were identified by the Sequencing Alternative Polyadenylation Sites (SAPAS) method capable of high-throughput sequencing and quantifying the 3'-ends of polyadenylated transcripts. And they were visualized to provide additional experimental support for Belcher's lancelet gene models.

Add: RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq) data to support for lancelet genes, Gene expression pattern in lancelet embryogenesis.
The RNA-Seq approach was adopted to analyze the gene expression pattern in the major stages of lancelet embryogenesis (Branchiostoma belcheri), including the

oosperm (0 hpf),

4-8 cells (0.5 hpf),

blastula (4 hpf),

cap-gastrula (5 hpf),

cup-gastrula (6 hpf),

late neurula (20 hpf),

1 gill (30 hpf) and

larve (6 dpf).

These data help profile the dynamic usage of lancelet genes, in a sense, they also provide additional experimental support for lancelet genes.
